AMR New Expansion.
We have expanded to additional space in the plaza making it even easier to get in and out of the store then ever before. With an entrance right off the parking lot, our customers can load and unload equipment directly into the store! Additional space throughout the store means more accessories with a great selection of items for sale like goggles, helmets, hats, gloves, long underwear. With brands like Heelly Hanson, Scott, Marker and more. In addition with your rental customer discount you'll save 20% off all those great items. So if you need accessories get em when you come in for your rental equipment. With our expanded selection and competitive prices you'll be glad you got it all at AMR! Additional room in our repair shop and in our rental department along with new equipment means a better and more comfortable experience for our guests coming and going from the store. Check out our new sign, visible from the Gondola and French st. -making it even easier to find us. At AMR we never stop improving.

AMR We Care About You!
In a year where prices continue to rise, AMR understands and we want to help. We are going to keep our prices on pre-booked business the same as last year. That's right, no price increases on pre-booked rentals, via on line, fax, or called in. Of course we have to cover some of our in house cost increases, so walk in rates will increase modestly by a buck or two. This gives you added incentive to pre-pay or at least pre-book your rental before you get in town. Check our policies and discounts page for the same great deals we have always offered like: save 25% off if you pre-pay 30 days in advance. We plan to make up the difference in satisfied customers and referrals. Plus, we help in lots of little ways like helmets included with jr rentals and under 5 and over 70 free with adult "Better" rental pkg. So whether you've been with us for years or are just shopping around remember there is a reason our customers come back! Don't forget AMR is a skier owned and operated shop. We know what's important. Skiing and riding!!

AMR Renames Ski Packages.
In order to simplify an understanding of what package a customer wants to rent we have changed their names. Instead of Recreation, Performance or Top of the line. We will now call our rental packages - Good, Better and Best rental packages. Particularly when making a reservation, many times people would say "I don't want the basic recreation package and I don't need the top of the line either, but I am not a performance skier". Then when they come into the shop and we explain that performance means you get a great 4 buckle boot and a better mid range ski they would choose our performance package anyway. Thus, Good, Better and Best, packages, hopefully will be a bit easier to understand. When we techs have friends and family who come out to visit whether beginners or advanced skiers we like to put them in our middle of the line package. This way we can be sure they have a better fit with a great mid range ski. Of course if you want the Best package, for advanced skiers we have a great selection there and then if you just want to get on the hill with the minimal expense our Good equipment package will certainly do the job.

Breckenridge Gondola Working Great.
The gondola within walking distance from AMR has been working great. Especially for us. Now customers can stop in easier than ever. Skiers and riders can walk out our door and be on top of peak 8 at over 12,000 feet in less then a half hour. The gondola is never crowded and leaves from the town transfer station only a block away from our front door. With free parking across the street it has really made our location even more convenient.
