AMR Renames ski packages.
In order to simplify an understanding of what package a customer wants to rent we have changed their names. Instead of Recreation, Performance or Top of the line. We will now call our rental packages - Good, Better and Best rental packages. Particularly when making a reservation, many times people would say "I don't want the basic recreation package and I don't need the top of the line either, but I am not a performance skier". Then when they come into the shop and we explain that performance means you get a great 4 buckle boot and a better mid range ski they would choose our performance package anyway. Thus, Good, Better and Best, packages, hopefully will be a bit easier to understand. When we techs have friends and family who come out to visit whether beginners or advanced skiers we like to put them in our middle of the line package. This way we can be sure they have a better fit with a great mid range ski. Of course if you want the Best package, for advanced skiers we have a great selection there and then if you just want to get on the hill with the minimal expense our Good equipment package will certainly do the job.

Breckenridge Gondola Working Great
The gondola within walking distance from AMR has been working great. Especially for us. Now customers can stop in easier than ever. Skiers and riders can walk out our door and be on top of peak 8 at over 12,000 feet in less then a half hour. The gondola is never crowded and leaves from the town transfer station only a block away from our front door. With free parking across the street it has really made our location even more convenient.

AMR Returns to One Shop.
Due to the growth and expansion our store inside the Breckenridge Accommodations office will no longer be there. As one of the foremost lodging companies in town Breckenridge Accommodations is expanding their check in and office space. Our shop inside the office will be converted and AMR will be concentrating our efforts at our original shop in the City Market Plaza. This will help us to provide an even better service to our guests. We'll still offer the great service and discounts to the BA guest as always. Still only a block away from the Breckenridge Accommodations check in office we are convenient to those of you who are checking in with them.

AMR Now Selling Boots
AMR will now sell ski and snowboard boots. The new section in our store will sell boots which are designed to meet the needs of the mid priced purchaser. After the many years of people requesting us to sell our rental boots. We will now offer the retail versions of some of those great boots. At reasonable prices. Our range will be from $250 - 450. We expect to be selling boots to real people. Not racers or x gamers. Just the nice normal folk who ski enough toown there own boots. I have made a strong effort to offer the right boot for my customers for rental and using my over 20 years experience in the business have picked the perfect boots for the mid priced customer. Flex and width are most important when it comes to the right fit. Most regular people prefer a boot which is comfortable, not too stiff and a snug fit. And of course great looks! So whether you have a wide or narrow foot we will have a boot that will work. Our boots will be Nordica, Rossignol and Atomic. We will offer after market footbeds and boot heaters in addition to enable us to customize a boot specific to the buyer. Just one more way AMR can accommodate our guest and offer the best vacation experience available.
