 Discounts
AMR offers several ways you can save some money on equipment rental and merchandise. 

  * Prepay 30 days in advance and save 25% off our walk-in rates! ( Best Deal ! )  

  * Pre book your reservation less than 30 days out and get 20% off our rental rates with just a $10 per person deposit. 

  * Bring in our VIP card from any of our preferred lodging companies and save 10% on walk-in rates with no deposit. 

  * FREE DAY! Pay for 4 days and get the 5th day FREE! Pay for 8 and get 2 free, and so on.

  * Kids under 5 and seniors over 70 are FREE on our Better ski or board package with a rental of an adult Better or Best package. Seniors upgrading to the Best demo package will have to pay regular rates. 

  * 20% discount will be given on all retail accessories for renters. So if you need gloves, hats, goggles, socks, etc. get that stuff here. We price all our accessories to be very competitive and with your discount you can really save over stores in other parts of the country. No discounts are given on equipment sales though we will match any advertised prices.

  * Group discounts are available depending on how many people are in the group and what time of year you are arriving. Groups are considered 10 people or more, call or email for a quote.

  * We will meet or beat any advertised prices from any other shop in Breckenridge on rental if you can find someone who beats us.
 
 
Policies -  Our policies are designed to keep things straight.

   1 -  Fast and easy pick up for equipment, we can get most people in and out with their equipment in 20 minutes. Sometimes we take a little longer if we have a big family or many customers in the store. Sometimes even less time. We just want to make sure everyone gets the proper fit and attention and you're happy when you head out.

   2 - Individual fitting of boots and skis or boards helps guarantee a proper and correct fit to give you the best riding experience possible.

   3 - Skis and Boards are tuned and waxed when returned so all the equipment is ready to go for the next customer. Feel free to come in anytime if you need to get re-waxed or tuned.

   4 -  Customers are welcome to come in to change out equipment anytime. No Charge. Switch from skis to snowboards or vice versa, no charge. Also if anyone wants to upgrade from our Better to Best Demo package just pay the difference between the package rates and keep 
your original discount.  

   5 -  All rental rates are based on package rates including boots, skis or boards and poles. Helmets are included based on availability. There is a $3 per day discount on our Better package if you have your own boots. Our Best Demo skis or boards are not discounted if you have your own boots, because most people have their own boots who request that package and we price the Best gear that way. However we have an extensive collection of great demo boots if you prefer to use ours. 

   6 -  We cover reasonable damage to our equipment. We reserve the right to charge you up to full cost of replacing equipment if you destroy it through some negligent means. Like running it over with a car or melting your boots from trying to dry or heat them up by the fire or heater or excessive damage caused by reckless riding or destroying the equipment on rocks.  Remember, we don't want to charge you, it is our least favorite thing to do, so please be careful and treat our gear with reasonable care. Also, remember your body will take the brunt of the damage so if you see a big rock, avoid it, before it throws you down and causes damage to both you and your gear. Be safe on the mountain. We do not charge a damage fee waiver as we include that as part our regular rates. 

   7 -  Refunds are given on cancellation only if we're notified 48 hrs prior to scheduled arrival date. Refunds on rental packages are only given if returned early for days which were paid for,  not including the day of return. Equipment must be returned by 7pm the night before to be credited for unused days. We need to prepare all equipment for the next day and if someone comes in that morning we won't be able to get it ready to use until that evening. So if you want to be credited if you leave early or just get too tired to continue, please bring in the gear the night before. Also no credit will given if returned on the 5th free day. 

   8 - If you are thinking about skiing an extra day, we let you return the gear by 10 am before being charged for the day. 

   9 -  We do not offer multiple discounts. If you got one discount from advertising or our VIP program, no doubling up. 

   10 -  Remember Thursday is "Ski with Dave" day! I'll take people out for a day of hard skiing with a typical local. This is not Dave Ski with You day. We ski our regular routes at regular speed (fast). So if you're ready for a challenge and want to see how the big boys do it, join in. We usually meet at the shop at 10 and leave by 11 am and ski till about 2 or 3 pm. No breaks for lunch so have a good breakfast.
